I grew up right here in Lubbock, Texas, a place that taught me the value of hard work, community, and enjoying the simple things in life. I went to Cooper my whole life before graduating from Lubbock High School, where I spent a lot of my time on the baseball field. Playing ball taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to push through challenges, lessons that have stuck with me ever since.

I’ve always found peace in the quiet moments; the kind that come from casting a fishing line into calm water, sanding down a piece of wood until it’s smooth to the touch, or just spending time outside with my dog. I like things that take time and care, where you can see the work of your hands and feel proud of what you’ve built.

Animals have always meant a lot to me. Over the years, I’ve fostered pets that needed a place to land until they found a home of their own. It’s never easy to say goodbye, but knowing I helped give them a better start makes it worth it. I also volunteer my time with the elderly, because I believe listening, sharing stories, and showing up for people can make a real difference — even in small ways.

I try to live by a simple mindset: work hard, stay kind, and create things that last — whether that’s a piece of woodwork, a friendship, or a good memory. I enjoy being outdoors, staying busy with projects, and finding balance between stillness and purpose.

At the end of the day, what matters most to me is connection — with people, animals, and the world around me. That’s what keeps me grounded and reminds me what really matters.
